Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Paladin Technologies, Inc. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining complex building technology systems, including IP security, alarms & monitoring, audio visual, low-voltage infrastructure, and networking.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, ensuring maximum client satisfaction.
  • Work outside of normal business hours if necessary, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate written records, including project documentation, material and equipment records, and time cards.
  • Participate in training and development programs, including customer training and development of training documentation.
  • Assist with training technicians on security systems and installation techniques.
  • Communicate daily with Project Managers on project status, delays, and requirements.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the IT field, including at least 1 year of advanced computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Covid-19 vaccination is required due to customer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of experience with Genetec programming.
  • Associates degree (2 year) in a technical capacity.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Working Conditions

Site work job conditions are similar to typical construction projects. Additional environments include office spaces, medical, industrial, warehouse, parking ramps, and other. Outdoor work including occasional adverse weather conditions or cold/heat temperatures. Local travel required with occasional overnight travel.

Pay and Benefits

$33 - $38/hour (DOE). We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
