Job Description

Censeo Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert to support the GSA by providing customer engagement and operations planning, governance, strategic communications, transition readiness, and supplemental change management and customer support services as part of the E-Gov Travel Services (ETS) Program Management Office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) and experience with Travel Service programs, policy, and technology, ideally with E-Gov Travel (ETS). They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Support project delivery and team needs by serving as the SME leveraging Federal Travel Management System and policy expertise
  • Drive alignment between ETS Shared Service and T&E policy and standards organizations
  • Reduce cross-agency variances and streamline the design of any agency-unique needs to maximize the use of commercial solutions
  • Mitigate transition risks using a comprehensive planning and rollout effort across Government with coordinated delivery commitments
  • Coordinate agency ETS solution verification participation
  • Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on merchant agreement policies and procedures
  • Maintain tools for integrated project management across agencies and ETSNext T&E Technology Managed Service Provider
  • Facilitate and track interagency agreements and related service level agreements, schedules, cost, audit requirements, and other official information requests

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public policy, or related subject matter field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in consulting, federal service, and/or related field
  • Strong understanding of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) for civilian Federal agencies
  • Strong understanding of Travel Service programs, policy, and technology, ideally with E-Gov Travel (ETS)
  • Experience with Travel and Expense Business and Process Analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration

The Location:

Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks away from the White House.

The Fine Print:

  • Remote or Hybrid Opening
  • Salary Range: $80,000-$160,000 (depending on experience)
  • Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs
  • Essential Physical Functions
    • Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time
    • Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
