Senior Project Manager

The successful candidate will oversee the estimation process for interior federal government construction projects, ensuring accurate and precise cost estimates and proposals. They will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements and scope.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.
  • Review and assess subcontractor bids and proposals.
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings and assist with project planning and scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in federal construction, with a strong focus on interior projects.
  • Demonstrated success in estimating and managing federal government contracts.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in relevant estimating software and tools.
