Job Title: Senior Payroll Specialist

Our client, a fast-growing leader in their industry, is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to strengthen their payroll team and support their continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls across multiple companies.
  • Handle pay exceptions, bonuses, retroactive pay, and overpayments.
  • Assist in payroll audits and ensure quarter and year-end reconciliations.
  • Maintain payroll records, balancing earnings and deductions.
  • Prepare special reports for management.
  • Process garnishments and levies while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Participate in payroll-related projects and provide support to the payroll manager.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of full-cycle payroll experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, FLSA, IRS regulations, and state/local tax laws.
  • Multi-state payroll processing experience preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and provide leadership within the payroll team.
