CCIA is in search of a dedicated Privacy Policy Advisor to enhance the Association's advocacy initiatives. The Policy Counsel will play a crucial role in examining legislation and policies concerning privacy, cybersecurity, national security, law enforcement, and the implications of emerging technologies.

  • Engage with CCIA's policy teams in Washington, D.C. and Brussels to further public policy objectives.
  • Serve as a representative for the Association on pertinent topics and promote awareness of the interests of member organizations.
  • Foresee potential challenges that technology firms may encounter in the shifting public policy environment.
  • Oversee external advocacy campaigns and initiatives aligned with policy goals.
  • Conduct thorough research on cybersecurity, data privacy, and law enforcement access to information, while grasping related regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft documents to bolster CCIA's policy stances.


Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in legal practice, advocacy, or public policy focusing on privacy, security, and technology. A Juris Doctor degree is preferred.

  • Comprehension of legislative and regulatory policy processes.
  • Acquaintance with internet technologies and policy landscapes.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage various projects simultaneously.


Compensation: Competitive based on experience.
