Job Summary

This position is responsible for the sales and development of Banfi Vintners' portfolio of products in a designated district. The successful candidate will manage distributors to achieve goals, maintain inventory levels, and develop annual business plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage distributors to achieve shipments, depletions, and distribution goals.
  2. Manage execution and compliance for all channels of trade.
  3. Maintain appropriate inventory levels to achieve annual program goals.
  4. Develop annual business plans for designated markets.
  5. Create and introduce company brand programs and strategies.
  6. Assess distributor performance and develop wholesalers' capabilities.
  7. Implement Banfi's brand strategies and objectives through effective sales processes.
  8. Cultivate cross-department relationships within the company.
  9. Exercise fiduciary duty to the company in all financial matters.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience. Good written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as fluency in PC systems and Microsoft Office. The incumbent must have the ability to calculate and interpret financial data and interpret extensive statistical information.

The physical demands of this job include regular use of hands and eyes for PC use, reaching, talking, and hearing. The incumbent must be able to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, see, taste, and smell wine products. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds is required.

The incumbent must have a current valid driver's license, be able to meet a minimum travel schedule, and possess excellent time management skills. No DWI offenses or illegal drug use are allowed. A clean, late-model vehicle is required for business use.

The employee must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the alcoholic beverage industry and maintain the highest ethical business standards and fiduciary duty on behalf of the company and its customers.
