Position Overview

The Credit Balance Representative plays a crucial role in managing credit balances owed to patients. This position is responsible for the efficient posting and distribution of refunds to the appropriate parties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and processing credit requests from various sources, including the Billing team and insurance providers.
  • Managing all aspects of credit management and providing timely updates to management.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a dynamic environment.
  • Effectively interacting with diverse individuals and resolving conflicts as they arise.
Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Execute all assigned duties with diligence and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Comply with all regulations and procedures set forth by relevant licensing boards and agencies.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Patient Business Services or a related healthcare field is preferred.
