Job Description

Sletten Construction is seeking a Staff Accountant to provide support to the entire organization. The ideal candidate will report to the Controller and CFO and assist with daily accounting duties as outlined by the Controller. This position will serve as a resource for employees when the Controller is not available, offering exposure to various areas of construction accounting.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Initial setup of each job in each division with the proper job numbers, administrative access, phase codes, and GL codes.
  • Weekly job cost recording and labor cost reports.
  • Assist with audits, including corporate, retirement, and union audits.
  • Assist with renewals on State licensing and registrations.
  • Participate in vendor accounts receivable process and assist with accounting and administration of Company provided retirement plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or comparable field of study.
  • Experience with licensing and registrations is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft office products.
  • Vista experience is preferred but not required.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Developed office management and organizational skills.

  • This position reports to the CFO and Controller.
