Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law to join a reputable law firm's Real Estate team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. This position requires a commitment to delivering outstanding client service and the capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment. The role offers substantial opportunities for professional growth and a clear trajectory for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing transactions.
  • Deliver effective legal services both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Seamlessly integrate into the national real estate practice.
  • Provide exceptional client service across a wide array of complex transactions.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development aligned with career progression.
  • Engage with team members, with an expectation of in-office collaboration approximately 60% of the time in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an ABA-accredited institution.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Proven experience representing sophisticated stakeholders in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Familiarity with the complete transaction lifecycle and the ability to analyze and provide feedback on loan documents, leases, and purchase agreements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor in interactions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in team settings and foster collaboration.

Location:

  • Position based in a major metropolitan area.
  • Encouragement of in-office work approximately 60% of the time, following company guidelines.
