Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

The Staff Services Manager II within the Behavioral Health Grants Section is tasked with overseeing personnel management and the strategic planning, organization, and monitoring of funding initiatives related to the State's Naloxone Distribution Project and other critical health programs. This role serves as the principal representative for DHCS in matters concerning opioid-related activities and emergency grant oversight.

The manager will supervise two key units: the Contracts and Policy Unit and the Disaster Response Unit, ensuring effective collaboration with state departments, federal entities, provider organizations, and various stakeholders. The position may require occasional statewide travel.
