Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety is a top priority on all projects and for all team members, adhering to policies and procedures, performing safety audits, and conducting toolbox talks.
  • Directly supervise employees and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Interpret operational data and make operational changes as needed to optimize project outcomes.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to maximize uptime and productivity.
  • Successfully interface with environmental and regulatory agencies, as well as generators and haulers, to ensure efficient processing and delivery of materials.
  • Achieve budget and other KPI targets for managed projects.
  • Manage project financials and provide accurate forecasting and scheduling.
  • Travel to on-site project locations, with over 50% of time spent in this capacity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of management or supervisory experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.
  • Proficient computer skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to plan and coordinate complex systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and state/federal safety rules and regulations, with the ability to operate heavy equipment if properly trained.
Working Conditions

The Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent travel to on-site project locations. The position requires the ability to work in a variety of physical conditions, including proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and exposure to bio-solids.
