Position Summary:
This Controller role serves as a key business partner to the plant operations team, significantly impacting performance enhancement and regulatory compliance at the APL Lickdale facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and communicate business performance metrics.
- Drive initiatives aimed at operational improvement.
- Manage inventory and capital expenditure effectively.
- Ensure adherence to TE's policies and procedures.

This role encompasses support for budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, cost management, inventory accuracy, product costing, lean manufacturing advancements, process optimization, and internal controls.

Essential Duties:
- Maintain a robust control environment while balancing the business partner responsibilities.
- Provide direct financial support to the Plant Manager and collaborate with local and Business Unit teams on strategic initiatives, delivering impactful analytics for informed decision-making.

- Work closely with the plant manager and staff to address operational challenges in alignment with the company's best interests.

- Understand plant operations and products to apply knowledge in costing, forecasting, budgeting, and overall business management.

- Collaborate with operations to set expectations for material and conversion productivity, coaching team leaders on financial principles related to lean practices to optimize labor, materials, and processes.

- Develop and communicate spending targets for the plant and value streams, assessing performance against financial goals and identifying necessary countermeasures.

- Lead financial discussions during executive visits and present relevant financial data.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Finance, with at least 5 years in a large manufacturing environment.

Skills:
- Proficient in SAP within a manufacturing context, with strong capabilities in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data management systems.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams effectively.
