Position Overview:
As a crucial partner to the plant operations team, this Controller role is instrumental in enhancing performance and ensuring adherence to compliance standards at the APL Lickdale facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and communicate business outcomes effectively.
- Lead initiatives aimed at performance enhancement.
- Oversee inventory management and capital expenditure.
- Ensure alignment with TE's policies and protocols.

This role encompasses support for forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing, cost management, inventory precision, product costing, lean manufacturing enhancements, process optimization, and internal controls. It is essential to maintain a robust control environment while balancing the business partner responsibilities.

Measures of Performance:
The position provides direct financial assistance to the Plant Manager, collaborating with local and Business Unit teams on strategic initiatives. This involves delivering impactful analytics that facilitate improved decision-making across all business dimensions.

Engagement with the plant manager and staff is vital to address operational challenges in a manner that benefits both the site and the organization. A comprehensive understanding of plant operations and products is necessary to apply knowledge effectively in areas such as costing, forecasting, budgeting, and overall business management.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in Finance, with at least 5 years in a large manufacturing environment.

Skills Required:
- Proficient in SAP within a manufacturing context, with the ability to identify significant material and conversion variances.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data management systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated leader with experience in guiding and influencing teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
