Job Overview

The Assembly Teams at Brantner and Associates, Inc. are responsible for operating automated assembly machinery, ensuring smooth component flow, troubleshooting machinery issues, and maintaining quality and productivity standards. Team members perform changeovers and setups according to production schedules, conduct quality checks as per established protocols, and document results as required. Each team member is accountable for maintaining cleanliness and organization in their work area while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

This role involves working on a swing shift, alternating between first and second shifts weekly.

First shift operates from 7 am to 3 pm, while second shift runs from 3 pm to 11 pm.

Employees on swing shifts receive a 5% shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare machinery for the assembly process.
  • Operate both automatic and semi-automatic assembly machines.
  • Load components onto assembly machines.
  • Make precise adjustments to align parts correctly.
  • Clear jams and inspect finished products for quality.
  • Prepare completed products for transport within the facility.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to use inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and gauges.
  • High energy, self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Introductory experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 37 lbs.
  • Ability to exert a peak force of 34.5 lbs. when pushing.
  • Ability to exert a peak force of 39.5 lbs. when pulling.
  • Frequent standing is required throughout the workday.
