Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Hyatt House Aurora. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our breakfast buffet, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are well-stocked and presented in an attractive manner.
  • Maintain the safety and appearance of the buffet area, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
  • Replenish silverware, sugar caddies, and condiments as needed, and restock bar and pantry supplies.
  • Prepare breakfast foods and have the dining area/buffet set for the start of service.
  • Greets guests, answers questions, and accommodates special requests as needed.
  • Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitization of tables, stations, and service areas.
  • Provide assistance when needed to your fellow team members, guests, and other departments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.
