As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant with Soliant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality speech therapy services to clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and development of individuals with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement treatment plans and interventions designed to address speech, language, and communication goals.
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations to gather relevant information about clients' speech and language abilities.
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions to clients under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Implement various therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve speech production, articulation, language comprehension, and expressive language skills.
- Help clients develop and enhance social communication skills.
- Teach clients and their families strategies and techniques to improve communication outside of therapy sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization.
- Previous experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
