Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Supervisor to join our team at the AK Law Firm. As a key member of our Medical Records & Demands department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and assistance to our clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Manage medical records and billing requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Communicate with case managers and treatment providers to obtain necessary records and information.
  • Organize and review medical records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify outstanding balances and ensure clients are using their health insurance.
  • Assist in various facets of case work related to medical records and billing.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of recent leadership experience, preferably in a personal injury firm.
  • Knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, civil subpoenas, and HIPAA.
  • Exposure to medical terminology and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills, with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborative team player with experience partnering with multiple departments.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and typing, with experience in Microsoft Office and Filevine.
