The Role:We are seeking an experienced Private Event Sales Manager to join our team at Ruth's Chris Steak House. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your sales career and contribute to the success of our company.
This position will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to increase private event sales and catered events within the restaurant, as well as pursue off-site catering opportunities in each market segment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with clients, and have a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities:- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase private event sales and catered events
- Pursue off-site catering opportunities in each market segment
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Client Relationships
- Buil client relationships through regular communication and follow-up
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving
- Foster repeat business through effective communication and relationship-building
- Event Execution
- Work closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to plan and execute events
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution
- Monitor event details and communicate with clients throughout the planning process
- Marketing and Promotion
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote private event sales and catered events
- Participate in local networking events and functions to build relationships and generate leads
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least one year of experience in private event sales or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building client relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
