The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Private Event Sales Manager to join our team at Ruth's Chris Steak House. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your sales career and contribute to the success of our company.

This position will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to increase private event sales and catered events within the restaurant, as well as pursue off-site catering opportunities in each market segment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with clients, and have a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase private event sales and catered events
    • Pursue off-site catering opportunities in each market segment
    • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Client Relationships
    • Buil client relationships through regular communication and follow-up
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving
    • Foster repeat business through effective communication and relationship-building
  • Event Execution
    • Work closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to plan and execute events
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution
    • Monitor event details and communicate with clients throughout the planning process
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote private event sales and catered events
    • Participate in local networking events and functions to build relationships and generate leads
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in private event sales or a related field
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
