Job Title: Medical Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant Coordinator to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This includes taking vital signs, administering medications, performing simple diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and families
  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing simple diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and responding to patient inquiries
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant certification from a recognized accrediting agency
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
