Position Overview:
The Head of Project Oversight is essential in steering and managing the successful delivery of solar energy initiatives for our organization. This role demands exceptional leadership, project management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the solar energy landscape. The Head of Project Oversight will guide a team of project leaders, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective and timely realization of solar energy projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:Project Strategy and Planning:
  • Formulate and execute project management strategies and frameworks to guarantee successful project delivery.
  • Partner with senior leadership to synchronize project goals with organizational objectives and strategies.
  • Conduct thorough project feasibility studies, including financial assessments, resource distribution, and risk analysis.

Leadership and Team Development:
  • Direct, mentor, and cultivate a team of project leaders, offering guidance and support throughout project phases.
  • Encourage a collaborative and high-achieving team culture, fostering effective communication and knowledge exchange.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Project Implementation and Oversight:
  • Supervise the execution of multiple solar energy initiatives, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project advancement, identify potential obstacles, and proactively implement corrective measures to maintain project momentum.
  • Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients.

Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Develop and sustain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory entities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Address stakeholder inquiries and resolve conflicts promptly and professionally.

Quality Control and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout project execution.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee the delivery of superior solar energy systems and installations.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and assessments to identify improvement opportunities and integrate lessons learned into future initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in project management, ideally within the solar energy or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach.
