Registration Coordinator

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Greets patients and families promptly and courteously, providing a positive first impression of our hospital.
- Answers phone calls, provides information, and directs callers to the appropriate personnel.
- Reviews patient forms for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Collects deposits and co-pays according to established guidelines.
- Practices caution and uses good judgment when relaying messages and providing information to patients, families, and visitors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in admissions or health information services.
- Effective communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure quality patient care.
