Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Child & Adolescent Clinic in Anderson, SC. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist medical staff with complex nursing tasks, including medication administration and prior authorization.
  • Provide nursing duties to tele-psychiatry physicians, ensuring seamless communication and accurate vital sign collection.
  • Assist with prior authorization medication forms, utilizing electronic medical records to research and verify medication information.
  • Document services in clinical records according to quality assurance standards and agency policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved nursing education program for professional nursing or an equivalent course of study.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and related experience.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the SC Board of Nursing.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience working with psychiatric patients, third-party payers, and prior authorization of medication and treatment.
