Automotive Systems Specialist

As a Main Shop Technician, you will play a critical role in performing complex repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Troubleshoot issues with vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, and HVAC
- Communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors to ensure accurate job estimates
- Utilize advanced tools, equipment, and dealership-specific software to complete repair orders efficiently
- Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer quality standards
- Mentor and assist less experienced technicians when needed
- Adhere to dealership safety standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience, with knowledge of various vehicle systems
- Certifications preferred (or a willingness to obtain them)
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and repair software
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
