About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Liquidity Associate to join our team at TD Bank Group. As a key member of our Treasury & Balance Sheet Management team, you will play a critical role in executing various aspects of the liquidity risk framework for our consolidated US operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage liquidity risk across legal entities and business segments
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including the business, risk management, and other key stakeholders at TD group
  • Provide planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis support for assigned lines of business and/or at the total segment level
  • Conduct complex analysis and understand the whole financial function and key business areas supported
  • Develop and analyze key metric and plan variances and related information
  • Compile and generate ad-hoc analytical reports
  • Develop financial analytical and forecasting models to test assumptions and predict results of business initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
  • 5-7 years related experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building, and interpretive statistics
  • Ability to successfully plan, develop, lead, and execute projects
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives
  • Practical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies
  • Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information
  • Knowledge and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Knowledge of accounting and the associated rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or knowledge of Liquidity Management or Treasury function within a financial services setting
  • Understanding of liquidity risk management associated with all the products of the balance sheet
  • Understanding of key liquidity regulations such as Reg YY, FR 2052a, LCR, and NSFR
