About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of video services and digital solutions in the security industry. As a Security Sales Executive, you will be responsible for securing Planned Service Agreements with new and existing customers, serving as the subject matter expert for video services and digital services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reactivate, add-on, and make minor modifications to out-of-service locations to recapture valuable recurring revenue and bring in new customers.
  • Sell our complete services portfolio to new and existing customers, driving impactful activities, results, and improving attach rates.
  • Work closely with district sales leaders (CSMs) to manage metrics, utilizing all available dashboards and tools.
  • Identify and pursue resale opportunities, leveraging data from sources such as Salesforce, ADMIN, and Power BI RIF List.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to efficiently influence territories and aggressively manage out-of-service locations.
  • Sell services and upsell products within assigned territories, maintaining sales and service quotas and following established guidelines.
  • Target and grow existing customers with low service penetration, introducing JCI digital services to existing customers and new prospects.
  • Utilize approved marketing materials to present sales presentations and proposals to prospects, highlighting the benefits and advantages of our products and services.
  • Target non-JCI customers to add services or take over existing service contracts.
  • Identify prospects using creative lead-generating techniques, including data mining and leveraging the Power BI RIF Database.
  • Add-on, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet customer expectations.
  • Adhere to current JCI policies, procedures, products, programs, and services.
  • Follow up with prospects, prepare final contracts for signature, and process work orders and complete paperwork in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Post-installation follow-up by contacting customers to ensure commitments were met and maintain customer retention.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior-level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule.
  • Available for local travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry, demonstrated by the consistent ability to meet and exceed quota.
