Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Millwright to contribute to our operations. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and Job Safety Analysis documents while implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Utilize appropriate safety measures, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions to management promptly.
  • Engage in confined space operations as required, either as a worker or attendant.
  • Conduct tests on machinery and systems during maintenance to ensure proper functionality before returning to production.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues across various plant systems.
  • Fabricate basic factory equipment using materials such as wood, metal, and plastic.
  • Assess electrical controls for power status and perform repairs on simple electrical defects.
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and minor electrical issues.
  • Install and align machinery, utilizing technical drawings and schematics.
  • Perform precision alignment and understand mechanical balance and vibration control principles.
  • Execute simple rigging tasks and perform basic welding and brazing operations.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Plan maintenance procedures and determine material needs for repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any operational issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in plumbing, mechanics, welding, and carpentry is required.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electricity and the ability to read technical schematics.
  • Capability to lift heavy loads and work in elevated or confined spaces.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory for this position.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
