Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Millwright to contribute to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Job Safety Analysis protocols while implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies across all plant systems.
  • Utilize safety measures such as barricades, lockout/tagout procedures, and personal protective equipment to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Identify and report unsafe working conditions promptly.
  • Engage in confined space work as necessary, including acting as a confined space attendant.
  • Conduct tests on machinery and systems during maintenance activities to ensure functionality before resuming production.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues across various plant systems.
  • Fabricate basic factory equipment using materials such as wood, metal, and plastic.
  • Assess electrical controls for power status and manage minor electrical repairs.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and minor electrical systems.
  • Install and align machinery according to specifications, utilizing technical drawings and schematics.
  • Understand and apply mechanical alignment methods and perform precision alignments on machinery.
  • Execute simple rigging tasks and conduct non-critical welding and brazing operations.
  • Safely operate forklifts and plant cranes, maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Plan and detail maintenance procedures, determining necessary materials and troubleshooting approaches.
  • Adapt systems to meet evolving requirements through design and construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any operational faults.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Successful candidates must pass proficiency tests in various maintenance disciplines.
  • Understanding of basic industrial electricity and power control systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in using PCs and barcode readers for maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of mechanical balance and vibration control principles.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy loads and work at heights, as well as in confined spaces.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.
