Job Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Tangent Technologies, you will play a crucial role in shaping the workforce by identifying and securing top-tier candidates who possess the necessary skills and enthusiasm to thrive. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluating, coordinating interviews, and facilitating onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Work closely with department heads to create precise and comprehensive job descriptions and candidate profiles.
  • Utilize effective recruiting techniques and strategies tailored to specific roles, industry benchmarks, and organizational needs.
  • Review applications and shortlist qualified candidates for further evaluation.
  • Organize interviews and prepare relevant interview materials.
  • Participate in the interview process alongside managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR personnel during the offer stage, advising on salary ranges, benefits, start dates, and other relevant details.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Engage in local and university job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system efficiently.
  • Carry out additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and capable of taking initiative independently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in recruiting for professional positions.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in recruitment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required. Additionally, a minimum of 4 years of experience in recruiting for professional roles is essential.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and using a computer.
