Position Overview:

The Senior Human Resources Executive plays a pivotal role within the leadership team of Level, Measurement Solutions, significantly contributing to the formulation and implementation of the annual strategic objectives of the organization.

This role reports directly to the Division Vice President of Human Resources.

This senior-level position at an AMETEK Business Unit is crucial for steering the strategic vision and ensuring the effective execution of initiatives aimed at the profitable expansion of the business.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate closely with management to offer expertise and hands-on assistance across various domains, including talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, recruitment strategies, workforce planning, onboarding processes, employee retention strategies, employee relations, management coaching, performance evaluation, and change management.

Provide guidance and support to managers regarding HR policies and programs, particularly in employee relations matters.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and enhance employee engagement.
Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals.
Ensure the accuracy of the HR database by processing data changes for new hires, terminations, and general employee updates within ADP.
Propose enhancements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the efficiency of the HR function.
Work in tandem with managers and employees to foster better work relationships, boost morale, and increase productivity and retention rates.

Monitor and evaluate Business Unit metrics related to talent, employee actions, overtime, global headcount, terminations, and voluntary attrition to suggest necessary actions.

Partner with management and supervisors to identify staffing requirements, job specifications, responsibilities, qualifications, and skills.
Assist managers and supervisors in preparing and updating job descriptions.

Oversee staffing activities, including candidate identification, interviewing, hiring decisions, coordination of pre-employment screenings, and onboarding of new hires.

Ensure the effective administration of benefits by developing, delivering, and coordinating open enrollment communications and orientations.
Collaborate with supervisors to investigate work-related injuries. Manage workers' compensation in partnership with a third-party administrator and report on case status as necessary.
Guarantee timely compliance training is conducted.
In consultation with Corporate, assist employees with health benefits, pension, and 401(k) inquiries.
Engage in the annual salary planning process by collecting and analyzing compensation data for benchmarking and salary strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Human Resource-related inquiries, providing general support.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
7+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing context.
Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local employment regulations.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing interpersonal matters with tact and diplomacy.
Demonstrated investigative and mediation skills.
Able to travel to supported sites as required (approximately 10 – 20%).
