Key Responsibilities
- Assess customer needs and accurately identify required parts
- Generate and adjust purchase orders as necessary
- Submit purchase orders to the appropriate vendors for parts acquisition
- Document warranty parts returns
- Input special order parts into the dealership's computer system and inform relevant parties upon arrival
- Monitor special order parts tracking
- Process and finalize outstanding invoices
- Verify received merchandise against requisitions for quality and quantity
- Maintain records of external purchases and parts transactions
- Conduct regular inventory checks in the parts warehouse
- Participate in weekly departmental meetings
A high school diploma or GED is required.
At least one year of experience in a dealership parts department or related training is preferred.
We also welcome candidates with a combination of education and experience.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience and aligns with industry standards for leading companies.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands for handling and reaching, as well as talking and hearing. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and bending may be required. The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally more than 100 pounds is necessary. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
