KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and assess daily lesson plans for students, including organized activities and resources for academic terms.
  • Develop instructional strategies to meet specific goals based on student requirements and established curriculum standards. Teach students in x-ray laboratories and radiology techniques.
  • Track student attendance in the program and collaborate with the Associate Director when absences occur consecutively. Generate weekly attendance reports for the administrative department.
  • Analyze student success metrics and implement strategies to minimize student dropouts. Engage with students to motivate them to continue in the program. Aim to maintain an 80% success rate for all courses instructed.
  • Administer student grades according to established guidelines. Compile final grades at the conclusion of each academic term to update student records and transcripts.
  • Assess students' performance concerning their achievements in the curriculum and activities, making necessary adjustments to address learning needs. Evaluate students' clinical competencies.
  • Prepare lectures, laboratory sessions, and practical demonstrations for students in both group and individual settings.
  • Guide and support students with the Radiography program curriculum.
  • May assist in coordinating externship opportunities for Radiography students.
  • Engage in the accreditation and assessment processes as assigned by the Program Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by a recognized regional or national accrediting body.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by relevant educational authorities.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • At least one (1) year of documented teaching experience in a JRCERT accredited Radiography program is preferred.
  • Familiarity with course development, instructional methodologies, evaluation, and academic guidance.
  • Must possess current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiologic Sciences or an equivalent credential.
  • Hold the necessary academic and professional qualifications for the teaching assignment.
  • Current licensure, certification, or credentials as mandated by local, state, and federal regulations to practice in the Radiologic Technology field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant computer applications.
