**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Union Electrician to join our team at Dynalectric - Columbus, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, and electrical equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, and electrical equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Document repairs and modifications, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Manage small work crews, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train and mentor apprentice electricians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Field installation of conduit systems, including GRC, EMT, and IMC conduits.
  • Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
  • Stay up-to-date with revisions of the National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.

**Requirements**

  • Ability to run conduit and install electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code, state, and local building codes.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and hand tools.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
