Compensation and Work Schedule

Position Overview:
As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of electronic systems by integrating various components, circuits, and devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and replace defective switches, outlets, and other basic elements of electrical systems, including lighting fixtures and ballasts.
  2. Connect wiring to fixtures and power sources; splice wires as necessary.
  3. Conduct inspections and tests on electrical lighting, signaling, communication, and power circuits.
  4. Identify faults in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical apparatus.
  5. Measure, cut, thread, and install electrical conduit.
  6. Route wiring through conduits.
  7. Capable of assembling, building, and organizing wire harnesses.
  8. Wire relays and terminal blocks.
  9. Install 110v outlets, CAT6 data lines, thermostats, LED lighting, and light switches.
  10. Handle 12v automotive electrical systems, including alarms, backup cameras, stereo systems, and fuse blocks.
  11. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems and fundamental wiring concepts.
  • Ability to adhere to NEC standards.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Skilled in diagnosing faults in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical devices.
  • Competent in measuring, cutting, threading, pulling, and installing electrical conduit.
