Key Responsibilities:

What You Will Do:
Oversee complex projects involving detailing teams and multiple products and vendors from estimation through to project completion. Foster a positive customer service atmosphere while optimizing profitability for Nucor Harris Rebar.

Your Duties Include:

• Analyzing contract documents and drawings while coordinating detailing efforts to ensure the safe, cost-effective, and efficient supply of products and services.

• Managing the complete contract lifecycle for each assigned project, including coordination of detailing, scheduling, delivery, and cost management using company systems and industry standards.

• Ensuring Nucor Harris Rebar meets its contractual obligations for assigned projects.

• Collaborating with contractors' representatives and engineers/architects following Nucor Harris Rebar's contract management guidelines.

• Scheduling detailing and delivery of necessary products and services with contractors and detailing teams.

• Assessing project changes to determine their scope, working with the estimating team to ensure accuracy, and processing documentation per company change order procedures.

• Assisting in the change order process until customer acceptance is achieved.

• Interpreting and clarifying plans and contract terms for relevant staff, workers, and customers.

• Representing the company in project meetings as required.

• Collaborating with the Detailing Manager to manage the financial aspects of contracts, safeguarding the company's interests while maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Preparing reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications:


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

• A minimum of ten years' experience as a rebar detailer and/or demonstrated construction project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Knowledge of ACI codes and CRSI standards is required.

• Experience in customer relations and conflict resolution.

• Familiarity with contract law, standard business practices, and human relations.

• Strong mathematical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Effective leadership skills; capable of coordinating actions of oneself and others.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential.

• Critical thinking skills and proficiency in applicable tools.

• Job site visits will be necessary.

• Required personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, etc., must be worn on-site.

• Work hours may extend beyond the standard business day.
