This position supports the sales team and can be based in various branches.

Responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to Nucor Harris Rebar's safety programs and standards.
  • Exhibiting conduct that aligns with Nucor's vision and values.
  • Managing daily bid lists and reviewing reports from customers.
  • Processing retail sales orders and ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Assisting in the preparation of sales bids and project quotations.
  • Following up on quoted jobs to determine their status.
  • Preparing contract routing sheets and distributing information to detailers.
  • Providing backup support to other sales support team members.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Special Requirements:

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Typical office activities including walking, sitting, and standing.
  • Using hands for operating tools, computers, and other equipment.
  • Lifting and handling office equipment.
  • Vision capabilities including close vision and focus adjustment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-year technical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry.
