Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $51,000 - $60,000 annually (based on experience)

Work Arrangement: Initial in-office presence required for the first 90 days, with potential for hybrid work review thereafter.

Role Overview:

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering precise and timely financial reporting and analysis. Through thorough reconciliation, insightful analysis, and the establishment of robust accounting practices, you will ensure that the information provided aids branch personnel in making informed decisions. This position is designed to prepare you for future leadership roles in accounting while enabling you to collaborate with and advise key decision-makers on strategies for business enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate publication of branch financial reports.
  • Guarantee that financial statements are presented fairly and in compliance with GAAP.

  • Support colleagues within the Corporate Accounting team to achieve organizational objectives.

  • Analyze financial statements and provide constructive feedback to branch personnel regarding trends and patterns.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to stay informed about current trends in accounting and finance.

  • Understand processes and key drivers behind financial figures, suggesting enhancements to improve organizational success.
Demonstrate Good Stewardship:
  • Collect data and assist in the successful completion of annual audits and other necessary evaluations.
  • Engage in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly advanced spreadsheet capabilities, are required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and fundamentals is essential.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and accurate data entry skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work with and comprehend financial information and data, including basic arithmetic functions, is essential.
