Transportation Operations Manager

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to lead our transportation team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods from our distribution centers to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement transportation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage a team of transportation managers and coordinators to ensure seamless execution of transportation operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize transportation operations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation operations or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices
