Transportation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role will be responsible for overseeing the transportation and delivery operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement transportation strategies to achieve business objectives
- Lead a team of transportation managers and associates to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation supervision
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
This role will require occasional travel and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
