Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Aviation Project Lead to join our dynamic team in the New York and New Jersey regions. In this role, you will spearhead and oversee the IT components of significant airport terminal redevelopment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with client management, project teams, and stakeholders to define, collect, and coordinate IT specifications for airport terminal redevelopment projects.
  • Supervise General Contractors and their supply chains to ensure that the contracted scope is delivered and commissioned within the established timelines and budget, providing status updates as necessary.
  • Manage changes in a manner that is equitable for both clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure that any modifications to designs, schedules, or approved budgets are coordinated and integrated with related programs/projects and budget holders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact successful program delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. A PMP or equivalent certification, along with membership in an engineering or aviation association, is advantageous.
Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in delivering IT projects/programs within the aviation sector. A comprehensive understanding of various standard airport IT systems, technologies, and networks (such as AODB, RMS, FIDS, CUPPS, SBD, BHS, BRS, CCTV, Access Control, WiFi, Cellular, RF communications) is essential, along with insight into how different stakeholders utilize these systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required, and familiarity with Primavera P6, CAD tools, and program management tools is critical. Candidates must also meet the requirements to obtain necessary security clearances.
