Human Factors Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Human Factors Engineer to support the development of medical devices at one of our clients in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply human factors methodologies to design human-machine systems and medical devices.
  • Develop and implement research methodologies to test and evaluate new concepts and prototypes.
  • Design and execute usability tests to simulate product use and validate usability.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to optimize human-machine interfaces and user experience.
  • Perform usability risk analysis and identify risks related to human factors in the development process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a human factors role within a regulated industry.
  • Strong experience in study execution and moderation.
  • Proficiency in usability risk analysis.
  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting the development of medical devices or other regulated products.
  • Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
