The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing user interactions and experiences both physical and digital across a variety of our client's challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and execute user research studies to uncover insights into user needs, motivations, and pain points.
  • Utilize a variety of research methods, such as interviews, surveys, ethnographic studies, and usability testing, to gather data.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and product management teams to integrate user feedback and human factors principles into product development processes.
  • Develop personas, user scenarios, and use cases to inform design decisions and ensure alignment with user requirements.
  • Design and conduct usability studies to evaluate the effectiveness of digital and physical interfaces and interactions.
  • Analyze data from user studies and feedback to generate actionable insights and recommendations for improving design.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in human factors engineering and user experience design.
  • Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional team discussions.
  • Continuously advocate for a user-centered design approach within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • 5+ years proven experience in conducting user research and usability testing, preferably in a product development or UX design environment.
  • Strong understanding of human factors principles, usability principles, and cognitive psychology.
  • Proficiency with usability testing tools, survey tools, and data analysis software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
