Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician III to join our team at Sunstate Equipment Co. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced diesel mechanic to work on a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, machinery, and smaller tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on diesel-powered equipment
  • Conduct thorough inspections of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other critical components
  • Address mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed
  • Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance and repair
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a background in construction, heavy equipment, or equipment rental
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
  • DOT medical card required; assistance available for obtaining
  • Clean driving record and commitment to maintaining a safe driving record
