Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Georgia Air and Refrigeration Services. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk-in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems.
  • Client Support: Oversee all network services, perform tests on equipment and circuits, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any requests or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas-related issues with commercial kitchen equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and display excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Preferred relevant certifications, such as EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Pass a satisfactory background and drug screening.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledgeable about all safety requirements.
