Description:

Aerzen USA Corp is a leading manufacturer of positive displacement blowers, hybrid blowers, screw compressors, and turbo blowers. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, servicing, and repairing Aerzen products at customer sites. You will also provide customers with prompt, professional, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform startups, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and/or preventive maintenance service on all Aerzen Products at customer sites.
  • Represent Aerzen in a professional and courteous manner, following all Aerzen and customer safety requirements.
  • Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog, and digital).
  • Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections.
  • Analyze and correct communication issues, properly address TCP/IP networks, and RS-485 communications.
  • Perform repairs and assembly on Aerzen Products, disassemble, assess damage, and evaluate failures on machines.
  • Diagnose problems with Aerzen machines by evaluating material condition and asking the customer questions.
  • Communicate with customers to discuss job requirements, provide recommendations, and service options.
  • Assist engineering in plant design, modifications, and hazard analysis.
  • Complete written repair reports to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received, and as returned to the customer.
  • Conduct customer training on Aerzen Products when onsite.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or associate degree (2 years schooling) in electronics technology or associated field.
  • 5+ years of field experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Over 4 years of Field Service and Repair experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams (dimensions, assembly, electrical).
  • Proper use of micrometer, dial indicator, feeler gauges, and coordinate measuring tools.
  • Clean Driving Record.
