The Banquet Server position provides an expertly served beverage or event dining experience; anticipating the guests' needs and serving as an expert on the menu options. Key responsibilities include:




  • Offering pre-determined menu selections to each table and maintaining knowledge of each selection's origin, taste, and preparation method
  • Communicating guest orders, including any special needs or requests, to the Banquet Manager or kitchen
  • Checking completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order and transporting items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality
  • Assisting in setting up linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order
  • Anticipating guest needs, ascertaining satisfaction, and responding urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Breaking down, cleaning, and setting up tables, buffets, and food stations
