Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Originator to join our team at TrueStone Lending, our bridge lending division. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong background in sales, with a focus on real estate, and possesses excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source new business through networking, meetings, telesales, and canvassing
  • Develop, manage and maintain existing relationships with mortgage brokers, attorneys, accountants and other real estate professionals to generate future business opportunities
  • Liaise with in-house counsel and borrowers on active deals
  • Evaluate and underwrite real estate (will train)
  • Tour real estate

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in investment or residential sales, real estate lending or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

NY Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this position is ($55,000 – $65,000) + Commission based on skills and experience.
