Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at VetJobs. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and professional relationship with customers, sales staff, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage customer accounts and provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Interact with customers regarding orders, changes, concerns, and documentation needs.
  • Process invoices and closely monitor all accounts receivable.
  • Research and bill truck detention charges to customers.
  • Research and obtain resolution of customer issues.
  • Effectively manage relationships with Account Managers, Plants, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Technical Services.
  • Cross-train on all CSR responsibilities.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer 2+ years of experience with customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • High regard for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate well in a team environment.
  • Must be committed to group goals and objectives and continually seek to improve.
  • Must be able to receive direction from others and work independently while managing priorities.
  • Must be able to confidently make complex decisions and problem-solving which impact all aspects of the business.
  • Must have a friendly and positive disposition.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
  • Ability to learn web-based and other computer applications as needed.
  • Actively expand knowledge of customer business and market conditions.
  • Proficiency in clerical skills including keyboarding, data entry, filing, scanning, faxing, and photo copying.
Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, operate a keyboard, stand, file, bend, kneel, and clearly communicate via the telephone and email.
