Job Title: Water Resources Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Project Engineer to join our team at Harrison Consulting Solutions in Peoria, IL.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will lead projects related to water distribution system analysis, water main design, wastewater collection system analysis, sanitary sewer design, and lift station analysis/design. They will also manage and supervise engineers and technicians, perform design tasks, and build and maintain client and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects related to water distribution system analysis, water main design, wastewater collection system analysis, sanitary sewer design, and lift station analysis/design.
  • Manage and supervise engineers and technicians.
  • Perform design tasks, including calculations, models, plan preparation, quantity calculations, construction details, specifications, cost estimates, and related tasks.
  • Build and maintain client and vendor relationships.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 8+ years of water resources experience.
  • PE License.
  • Proficient in Microstation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.
  • Experience with WaterCAD, SewerCAD, XP-SWMM, and other hydraulic models.
  • Experience with water distribution system, wastewater collection system analysis, and design, and lift station design.
