Position Overview

Evoqua is on the lookout for a seasoned Process Engineer located in the North Central US region to enhance industrial water treatment facilities. In this capacity, you will diagnose and refine intricate water and wastewater treatment processes.

This will involve collaborating with operational staff and our clients, analyzing process data, conducting pilot studies, and experiments to identify and comprehend the root causes of issues at treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Innovate treatment processes to enhance site productivity

- Provide assistance in the design, development, testing, and modification of systems

- Implement process modifications to boost safety, reduce costs, enhance production, and improve reliability

- Engage in material specification, schematic preparation, and necessary follow-up

- Prepare explanations and clarify information to facilitate accurate interpretation and evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics, or other technical data

- Communicate technical and commercial matters effectively

Position Requirements

Formal Education:
Requires a BS/BA in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree strongly preferred)

5+ years of experience in Industrial Chemical processes or Water Treatment processes required

Knowledge & Experience:
Experience in the design, installation, startup, operation, and maintenance of large-scale Reverse Osmosis systems is preferred

Hands-on experience within a plant environment is essential

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills

Able to mentor, instruct, and train others on the proper operation of water treatment processes

A self-motivated individual, capable of working independently

Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a strong customer focus

Additional Information

Travel Requirements:
60% travel to customer sites in the North Central US region

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $120,000
