As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle/Business Administration Team. This role is crucial in overseeing the financial processes associated with patient billing and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and strong communication and analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and process patient claims and invoices efficiently.
  • Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits accurately.
  • Address billing discrepancies and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers and patients to facilitate payments and resolve conflicts.
  • Maintain precise and current patient records and billing documentation.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and internal teams.
  • Support additional billing and revenue cycle initiatives as required.
  • This position requires on-site presence.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing practices and insurance reimbursement processes.
  • Solid understanding of billing and coding standards (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
  • Proficient in billing software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
